“WELCOME TO EVERYONE”

At our annual general meeting in April, 2009 we had the final report on the income and expenses for the 85th reunion which was in July 2008. Our expenses were higher than we anticipated but we had a great time.

We thought you would like to know that we give three $1000 scholarships every year to 3 deserving grade 12 students. This is a tradition that we would like to continue. Please consider leaving a lasting legacy by sending a donation to: Bedford Road Alumni Legacy Fund, c/o Saskatoon Public Schools 310 21st Street East, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1M7. You will receive a “Tax Deduction” receipt.

Please click to view the Letter we put in the Grade 12 Yearbook for 2009. We are planning to include a letter like this one in every yearbook inviting the graduating students to become active members of our committee. When you have been enrolled at Bedford Road you are automatically in the alumni.

We had a discussion about a “Social Get-Together” to be held at Bedford Road in the spring of 2010. This would not be a reunion but a time for your year to get together. Plan on contacting all those in your year and make it a wonderful social time. The more often we get together the better the next “big” reunion in 2023 will be. Let us know if it works for your class.
